Commercial pest control in Cairns.
Scheduled, documented, audit-ready pest programs for Cairns food and hospitality businesses. We keep cockroaches, ants, rodents and flies out of your kitchen, storerooms and dining areas with HACCP-aligned servicing and the paperwork your environmental health officer expects. Monthly or quarterly, scheduled around your trading. Quoted per site.
A documented program, not a one-off spray.
Who it is for.
Anywhere a pest sighting is a real problem — cafes, restaurants and takeaways, pubs and clubs, bakeries, supermarkets and food retail, body-corporate and strata complexes, holiday lets and rental managers, offices, childcare, aged care and medical rooms. In tropical Cairns the pest load is year-round, and for a food business a single bad review or a failed inspection is far more expensive than the program that prevents it.
What a program covers.
We treat the pests that threaten a tropical commercial site — cockroaches, ants, rodents, flies and stored-product pests — across the kitchen, food storage, bin areas, dining and back-of-house. The site is set up with a bait-station map and monitored on a fixed schedule. Each visit we re-treat as needed, check and re-bait stations, record what we find, and flag any hygiene or proofing issues (gaps, standing water, bin practices) that are inviting pests in.
HACCP, food-safety and Queensland Health.
Pest management is a required element of a food business’s HACCP-based food-safety program and of meeting Queensland food-premises obligations. We keep a current site pest-management file — service reports, bait-station map, treatment records, product labels and safety data sheets, trend monitoring and recommendations — which is exactly what your auditor and your local council environmental health officer will ask to see. Treatments in sensitive food-handling areas are planned under an activity risk management plan as required for high-risk and sensitive places.
Scheduled around your trading.
You cannot have a technician working through a lunch rush, so we service early mornings, after close or in quiet periods, and use low-disruption methods — gel baits, lockable stations and targeted treatments — that let you keep operating safely. Frequency is matched to your risk: high-volume kitchens typically monthly, lower-risk sites quarterly.
Licensing and why we do not cut corners.
All work is carried out by a licensed Queensland Pest Management Technician using APVMA-registered products to label, and as an AEPMA member we follow the industry code. The corner cut on cheap commercial work is skipping the documentation — which is the very thing that fails you at audit. We treat the site properly and keep the file audit-ready, so a surprise inspection is a non-event.
